5 Places to Update Your Personal Brand Visuals This Fall
As fall gets underway, it’s a good time to look at how your brand is showing up online.
You may be planning a launch, promoting a new offer, sharing more of your expertise, or simply looking ahead to the final months of 2026.
Here’s your reminder to refresh your images in five key places this fall, or add professional images for the first time if you haven’t already.
Your Freebie and Landing Pages
Many landing page templates allow you to include a photo, short bio, or even a welcome video. If someone is considering downloading your free resource, seeing the person behind it can help build trust.
Take a look at your existing landing pages and ask yourself: do the visuals still reflect your brand today? Could you swap in newer photos, update your bio, or add a short introduction video?
I use Kit for my email marketing, and one of the things I appreciate is how easy it is to update the images and content on my landing pages. A few small changes can make an older page feel fresh and more aligned with where your business is today.
Your Social Profiles
There's no rule that your profile photo has to stay the same forever. Why not swap in another image from your library to give your profile a fresh look?
That said, many branding experts recommend using the same profile photo across your main social platforms. The consistency helps people recognize you instantly, creates a more cohesive brand presence, and builds familiarity and trust as they encounter you in different places online.
If that's your strategy, consider refreshing the image everywhere at once.
Your Email Signature
If your face isn't already in your email signature, now is the time to add it.
Think about how many emails you send over the course of a year. Every one of them is a tiny branding opportunity. A professional photo helps put a face to the name, makes your emails feel more personal, and reinforces recognition with clients, colleagues, referral partners, and prospects.
In a world where so much communication happens through a screen, that small visual reminder can go a long way toward building familiarity and trust.
Your LinkedIn Banner
Just above your profile photo is some of the most valuable real estate on LinkedIn. A custom banner can reinforce what you do, who you serve, and add another professional image of you. Canva has dozens of LinkedIn Banner templates for you to choose and add your photo in easily,
Your Speaker Bio and Media Kit
Planning to speak, guest on podcasts, teach workshops, or participate in panels this fall? Now is the time to update the headshot that accompanies your speaker bio. Event organizers and podcast hosts often use whatever image you send them, so make sure it's one that reflects where your brand is today.
Your About Page
This one may seem obvious, but it's amazing how many entrepreneurs have newer, stronger images everywhere else and a photo from five years ago on their About page.
Before the busy fall season is in full swing, take 30 minutes and do a quick audit of everywhere your clients, prospects, collaborators, and referral partners might encounter you online.
You may be surprised by how many opportunities there are to show up more consistently, professionally, and personally.
And as you're looking around, ask yourself an honest question:
Do these images still reflect who I am, where my business is headed, and the level I'm operating at today?
Sometimes a simple refresh is all that's needed. But often, entrepreneurs have outgrown the photos they've been relying on for years. Their business has evolved, their expertise has deepened, and their visibility goals have expanded, but their visuals haven't kept pace.
If that's you, I'd love to help.
Through my signature brand photo and video collections, we create not only fresh images, but also talk-to-camera videos and visual assets you can use across your website, social media, landing pages, speaker bios, marketing materials, and more.
Because visibility isn't just about posting more.
It's about showing up with confidence wherever people are already looking.
