Hi! I’m Margot, your friendly personal brand photographer and videographer in Toronto.
Discovering my passion for photography at age 50.
My second-act pivot into photography came after decades of working as an award-winning TV producer and director of documentaries and HGTV shows, and as a former network executive.
My years of storytelling and helping people deliver their best on camera translate directly to the personal brand photography experience. From directing you in front of my lens, producing scenarios, props, and locations to help tell your brand story, to guiding you on camera to deliver talk-to-camera clips that showcase your authority and story—I’ve got you covered.
My superpower is helping camera-shy clients relax, laugh, and actually enjoy an experience they once dreaded. I also understand what it’s like to show up in front of the camera when you’re not totally thrilled about seeing yourself from every angle. But I also know the importance of showing up now, not waiting for the “perfect” time. I’ve learned how to photograph myself in ways that make me feel good, emphasizing what I love and softening what I don’t. I promise I can do the same for you.
When not shooting, I’m probably planning my next travel adventure—the farther away, the better. I love being in places that feel completely different from home. I get that feeling here in Toronto by exploring other cultures, checking out new cafés, or diving into a DIY project—a habit I picked up after working on too many design shows.
