From Yorkville Boutiques to Bay Street: A Personal Brand Photography Session with Stylist Réidín Rees

My client Réidín shops for a living—and she has the style to prove it!

As a Personal Fashion Stylist and wardrobe coach, she helps mid-career women reclaim their style and confidence, working with them one-on-one to revamp their wardrobes so they never have to stress about what to wear.

Earlier this fall, we planned a Personal Brand Session in Toronto across two distinctly different locations that perfectly captured her brand.

Location #1: Yorkville

Yorkville is an area she knows inside out: the boutiques, the high-end designers, and the one-of-a-kind pieces that help her clients stand out. This was our first stop, shooting everywhere from Hazleton Lanes to Old York Lane to the treed outdoor café area near Bellair.

Location #2: Bay Street in the Financial District

Bay Street symbolizes the corporate world many of her clients work in—a place where the expected “uniform” is often a suit. Here, we highlighted how stylish, personalized elements can still be worked into a wardrobe that fits right in on Bay Street.

A fun behind-the-scenes secret: With all the outfit changes and outdoor shooting, the trunk of Reidin’s SUV transformed into a full-on showroom—organized with dozens of looks, accessories, shoes, and more, all ready to go!
